Where the data comes from

• Shop addresses, opening hours and offers come from the shop’s own website, its Facebook page or the chain’s shop list. Each shop page names its sources and the date they were checked.
• Company names and registry codes come from the business register.
• Collection points (deposit packaging, batteries, textiles etc.) come from data published by the collection organisations. Each waste type page shows the source and the date of the data.
• Map and some locations: OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors.

How the data is checked

Every record is reviewed by hand. Opening hours and prices change, so each page shows a “Checked” date. Records older than six months are checked again. We do not copy Google Maps data: we only use Google Maps to see whether a shop exists and take the facts from the shop’s own sources.

Found a mistake?

Every shop page has a “Suggest a correction” link. You can also write directly to info@yebko.net. Shop owners who want to add or change their details can use the same address.
